Happiness is soooo simple, yet we make it so hard

For over 10 years, I have been asking myself: Why are we feeling so bad, in spite of “having it all”?

As a mentor to leaders, business owners and professionals, I have been paid to help them feel better in all areas of their life. Yet, all along I have been wondering why such amazingly capable people are having such a hard time with tough and troubling feelings to begin with.

And slowly, over time, it dawned on me – they are focusing on clearing up the mess that isn’t working, instead of focusing on how to enjoy themselves and to be really happy.

The risk of not being happy

During my journey to find a solution to why so many amazing people from all walks of life struggle with their feelings, I discovered a few very interesting things that surprised me very much. One of them is that our health actually depends on how we feel. It is now clear that our happiness is our body’s natural medicine.

Yeah, yeah, you might think. We get bummed when we don’t feel so well. But how bad can it be? 

Well, it turns out that it can get really bad not being happy – our negative feelings can cause all kinds of havoc in our body, and more and more studies are supporting this fact. Here are just a few of the problems a negative mindset can cause:

  • Heart disease
  • Memory loss
  • Fatigue
  • Hight blood pressure
  • Inflammation
  • Arthritis
  • Weight gain


SELF-LOVE is the best place to start

I don’t want you to confuse self-love with selfishness, as one is healing and the other destructive. The simplest clarifications can be described in two simple sentences.

SELFISHNESS is when you have no regard for anyone else.
SELF-LOVE is when you boost yourself so you can be there for others.


Your love creates HEALING HORMONES

Currently, we live in an exciting time, where woo woo is becoming cutting edge science right in front of our eyes. 

One example, since its’ first discovery several decades ago, is the hormone oxytocin which is now celebrated for it’s cell repairing properties in reputable laboratories. This seemingly magical hormon is even dubbed the Love Hormone due to its’ particularly charming results and characteristics.

When you feel really happy, and by that I mean deeply happy, your oxytocin levels increase and start a reparation process and build up of healthy cells. Science have noticed that it improves the following areas:

  • Better sleep
  • Less sickness
  • Weight loss
  • Heart health
  • Happiness
  • Stress reduction
  • Optimism
SO DON’T WAIT ANY LONGER – Start focusing on improving your feelings, to get really happy and healthy.
